Peering

The next step is to build connectivity between the individual pod networks and get connectivity to the Internet. Depending on the pod type you are going to setup slightly different peerings.

Peering

(Private) Peering is the interconnection between two Internet networks (AS) for the purpose to exchange traffic of their (downstream) networks free of charge. This allows peers to reduce the load on their transit connections, allowing them to reduce their costs, their environmental footprint and improve routing performance by keeping local traffic local.
